PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY

As Company which is not a private company is a public company. A private company which is Subsidiary of a Public company shall also be deemed to be Public Company.  A Public Company must have at least seven shareholder and minimum three directors. There is not limit for maximum shareholder in a public company.

Reason/benefit to register a PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY

1. Separate Legal identity as it is Juristic Person in the eye of Law. The company can sue any in its name and any can sue the company in its name.
2. Raising of funds:- Very easy to raise fund as no limit to no. of members, issue debentures, raise fund through IPO, can take, financial institutions are more eager to provide loan to public company. 
3. Limited Liability :- The liability of members (shareholders) is limited to the share capital ( if remains unpaid the part which is unpaid, also)
4. No personal liability:- The members (share holders/directors ) of a company have personal liability towards company’s creditor (loan taken by the Limited Company)
5. Perpetual Succession:- Being a juristic Person its existence does not depend upon the death or any other issues related to discontinuation with the company.

3. Residence Proof (Electricity bill/ mobile Bill/telephone Bill)
4. ID Proof of each members (Voter I.D./ Driving License/ Bank Statement)
5. Rent/lease /sale deed for registered office and utility bill of the same address

3. Approval of name
4. Preparation of Moa/Aoa
5. Fie with concerned ROC
6. Get Incorporation Certificate
7. Apply for Pan No. for company
8. Apply for Tan No. for company
