NAME CHANGE OF COMPANY

Name of a Company, after incorporation can be changed. Name of company may be changed for various reasons as change in object i.e. business nature, Change in management etc.    

Procedure:-

Convene Board meeting and decide name and after that it would be applied for approval/reservation to concerned authority. After reservation of name EGM will be convened by the company. After that the required e- form MGT 14 is uploaded to the Concerned ROC regarding passing of special resolution within 30 days. After MGT-14, INC -24 is uploaded to the central Government.  If Registrar of Companies is satisfied then Certificate of incorporation with the new name is issued. MGT-14 is also approved by the Registrar.
